About Me

I’m a 30-something year old mom raising 6 children. 3 boys and 3 girls. I do a lot of juggling with my time, keeping up with my children’s baseball, basketball, piano lessons, dance lessons, school and tons of other activities. I hardly get a moment for cooking, cleaning, shopping, bill paying, gardening, home repairing… and an occasional well deserved break from EVERYTHING! I hope my husband is reading this.

I’m the oldest of 6 children. I started my babysitting career as a “mother’s helper” – MY mother. I’d help change diapers, feed, bathe, and play with the younger children. The pay wasn’t great, but the experience made me smart. Smart enough to become a babysitter for neighbors who would pay me. Some of them paid me well – even gave me bonuses. But I was pretty good, doing things that other babysitters hadn’t figured out. Parents liked me. Their children liked me. I don’t tell you this to impress you but to let you know there are things you can do to make that happen.

Parents are always looking for a good babysitter, and when they find one they can trust and not worry about, and one their children love, they want to keep that babysitter, even if it means paying a little bit more. But those types of babysitters don’t come along very often. I know – I’m a mom who hires babysitters. Trust me. Moms are always looking for the “perfect” babysitter and consider themselves fortunate when they find one. I want YOU to be that babysitter.

The Idea that is Going to Change the World

If I dump what’s in my brain into a book, then young people can learn what I know, and what other parents want their babysitters to know. By practicing on other people’s kids, babysitters learn to become better parents themselves. And if I teach good customer service skills, young teens can take what they learn from babysitting and apply it to jobs other than babysitting.

There are four things I want to accomplish. You can say I’m on a mission to:

  1. Show babysitters customer service skills they can use in both babysitting AND other jobs
  2. Show babysitters how to become better parents
  3. Provide “perfect” babysitters for parents all over the world
  4. Make you the most fun, most requested babysitter in your neighborhood

You are about to enter an exciting adventure. I know. I’m still living it.
